Make Health Care Like Wall Street?

070827-A-3715G-275Image by jim.greenhill via FlickrJohn McCain has published an article outlining his ideas about reforming the health care system in the US.

"Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation."

Yes that's right, John McCain is openly siting the success of deregulation of the financial system as evidence that the health care system should be taken in different direction. A person would have to have a pretty low IQ to support John McCain for President. He has absolutely lost his mind.

"President Bush spoke about the economy at the White House on Thursday. It was brief, two minutes. His brow was furrowed, and his words were careful: “The American people can be sure we will continue to act to strengthen and stabilize our financial markets and improve investor confidence.” Then, having imparted no specifics, he once again slipped out of sight."
