I wonder if McCain is actually falling apart, mentally. The campaign might be too much for him. He does do fewer appearances by far than Obama, at least in the past, and he takes more out right breaks. It can't be easy doing all that traveling and talking and such day and night for weeks and weeks. There may be people desperately trying to control him, and Palin, just to get through the next two months.

What would the party do if McCain doesn't stay healthy until the election?
